Medicare Advantage

Medicare Advantage Plans are offered by private insurance companies approved by Medicare. Medicare Advantage Plans cover all Original Medicare services and in addition, typically *include:

• Prescription drug coverage

• Preventive dental care

• Routine eye exams and eyewear

• Hearing aids

• Routine foot care

• Fitness program

Out-of-Pocket Limits

Original Medicare has no out-of-pocket limits. By law, Medicare Advantage plans have an out-of-pocket limit of $6,700 per year. Plans may choose to have a lower out-of-pocket limit. Once you hit that limit, the plan pays for all covered expenses.
